  8.             PROBLEM  :  There is a problem with the 3.01 EMS and XMS shells 
  9. when using the preferred server option.  The result of this problem is a 
  10. decrease in performance.  The workstation will run slower, sometimes much 
  11. slower when one of these shells is loaded.

  13.            SOLUTION  : This has been reported to engineering and the problem
  14. will be fixed (no date available).  In the meantime, either discontinue using
  15. the preferred server option or use the v3.01 NET3 instead of EMSNET or XMSNET.
